Bringing Western Communities Together for the Future
In the age of information, technological advancement has in many ways brought us closer together, but in other ways isolated us from the communities within which we live. Especially after the past few years, people are more isolated than ever. Building stronger communities is the key to strength and success. Getting involved on a local level can truly change the future, one person or family can do so much to shape the destiny of their nation and home.
The Western Unity Group’s mission extends beyond just politics. We are westerners who love our home, and want to see future generations love this land as we do. This is why a key pillar of our mission is to strengthen communities by encouraging grassroots participation in their local areas, as well as events and gatherings that will allow likeminded westerners to come together.
By working to change politics from the ground up through participation in your chosen party’s constituency associations, you can make a huge difference and truly effect the future of our nation. By coming together to enjoy a community barbeque, or to learn a new and useful practical skill, you can meet likeminded people as well as bond with your fellow western Canadians. The future of the west isn’t determined top down by government, but bottom up by the people.
