The West Must Stand Up Against Those Who Exploit Us
Our home is truly incredible, western Canada is one of the most naturally beautiful and abundant places on Earth. Despite this incredible abundance, it seems at every turn the advantage it grants us is squandered by ineffective and even punitive government.
Western Canada is the economic engine of Canada. Because of this fact, our economic strength is consistently exploited by the rest of the country, all while our ability to pursue prosperity is hampered by punitive measures that disproportionately target westerners and their businesses.
One of the core objectives of the Western Unity Group is to ensure western Canadians have all the opportunities they deserve, while ensuring our leaders leverage our economic strength to fight back against punitive laws and an extremely greedy federal government. It is time for the west to get the deal we deserve in this confederation.
